The Ingredients

First of all, gather all the necessary ingredients for this recipe. Place close attention to the quantities and look for any Twist!

1 can 28 oz Tuttorosso crushed tomatoes with basil
6 garlic cloves, chopped fine
1 medium onion, chopped fine
1 tsp dried oregano or 2 tsp fresh oregano
1 tsp Italian herbs
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper or to taste
6 fresh basil leaves
1/2 stem of fresh rosemary leaves
3 bay leaves
2 fresh thyme sprigs
sea salt to taste
1/4 cup parmesan cheese

The Steps

Add all ingredients to slow cooker, stir, add salt to taste. Slow cook on high for 1 hour.
Add parmesan cheese and serve.
