  • 2 ½ cups of flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 1 ¾ cup golden (white) raisins
  • 1 ½ Tbsp caraway seeds
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut (Baker’s sweetened coconut) (T)
  • 1 granny smith apple, peeled and chopped in small bite-sized pieces (T)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (T)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (T)
  • 1 pint Breakstone’s sour cream
  • 8 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg

Recipe Instructions

Next, follow the steps to finalize your dish and finally be able to enjoy it!
  1. Combine the first 10 ingredients in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the vanilla extract, sour cream, melted butter and egg then stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until all flour is mixed.

  2. Coat a 9-inch round cake pan with nonstick spray, transfer batter to prepared pan and cut a “X” into the center.

  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 mins. Cool bread for 10 minutes before slicing.
