The Ingredients

First of all, gather all the necessary ingredients for this recipe. Place close attention to the quantities and look for any Twist!

12 slices cinnamon raisin bread
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 can 100% pure pumpkin (15 oz)
1/2 cup white raisins (T)
1/4 cup shredded coconut (T)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 Tbsp maple syrup or agave syrup

The Steps

Next, follow the steps to finalize your dish and finally be able to enjoy it!

Spray a 13 x 9 baking dish with cooking spray. Cut bread into 1-inch pieces and spread evenly in baking dish.
Using a large bowl, add all ingredients through nutmeg. Mix well and pour mixture over cinnamon bread. Ensure that mixture is spread evenly over the top of the bread.
Sprinkle pecans on top. Cover and refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees or until toothpick comes out smooth. (May prepare ahead of time and refrigerate a few hours or overnight before baking).
Remove from oven and brush syrup on top while hot. Cool thoroughly before serving.
